National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, provides a comprehensive framework for assessing and ranking higher educational institutions across the country. Government College Hathin is committed to promoting excellence in academics, research, student development, outreach, and institutional governance in line with the objectives of NIRF.
The college has constituted a dedicated NIRF Committee to facilitate data collection, documentation, verification, and quality enhancement initiatives. The committee works towards strengthening institutional performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Objectives of the NIRF Committee
- To collect, compile, and verify institutional data as per NIRF guidelines.
- To promote quality enhancement in teaching, learning, and academic practices.
- To encourage research, innovation, and professional development among faculty members.
- To improve student progression, placements, higher education opportunities, and overall outcomes.
- To strengthen outreach activities, community engagement, and extension programmes.

- To coordinate with various departments for timely preparation of reports and supporting documents.
- To create awareness among stakeholders regarding quality benchmarks and best practices in higher education.
