Date: 21 June 2026 Venue: Government College Hathin, Palwal Government College Hathin celebrated the International Day of Yoga on 21 June 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members. The programme was organized to highlight the importance of yoga in maintaining physical health, mental well-being, and emotional balance. The celebration was conducted in line with the International Day of Yoga 2026 theme: "Yoga for One Earth, One Health," emphasizing the interconnectedness of human health and the health of the planet. Participants performed various yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation techniques under proper guidance, promoting the message of adopting yoga as a regular part of daily life. More than 25 students enthusiastically participated in the programme and actively performed the yoga sessions. The event encouraged students to embrace a healthy lifestyle while fostering discipline, mindfulness, and holistic well-being. The programme was organized under the supervision of Assistant Professor Mr. Anil Kumar (Physical Education), who coordinated the event and motivated students to understand the significance of yoga in achieving a balanced and healthy life. The celebration concluded with a pledge to incorporate yoga into daily routines and to spread awareness about its numerous physical, mental, and social benefits. The event reflected the college's commitment to promoting health, wellness, and holistic development among students.
